Asbestos PTFE Packing is manufactured from white asbestos fiber cords that are thoroughly impregnated with PTFE dispersion. A special lubricant can be added during processing to further enhance sealing performance and reduce friction. The packing has a soft, pliable texture, allowing it to conform well to sealing surfaces and provide reliable leakage control.

This PTFE-impregnated asbestos packing is particularly suitable for sealing pumps handling liquid chemicals. When lubricated, it performs effectively in reciprocating pumps and in sealing positions where the linear speed reaches up to 10 m/s.
