Carbon Fiber Packing is braided from high-strength continuous carbon yarns that are specially softened to improve flexibility and handling. During manufacture, the packing is impregnated with proprietary lubricants and fine graphite particles, which fill internal voids, reduce friction during start-up, and help form an effective leakage barrier. This structure allows the packing to seat quickly and achieve reliable sealing with minimal adjustment.
For demanding applications, Inconel wire reinforcement can be incorporated to enhance mechanical strength and extrusion resistance, particularly in static or high-load sealing conditions. The packing is suitable for use as a standalone solution or in combination with graphite rings as an anti-extrusion system.
