PTFE Graphite Packing

PTFE graphite packing woven from graphite-filled PTFE yarn, offering low friction, improved heat dissipation, and reliab.....

PTFE Graphite Packing, also known as Black PTFE Packing, GPTFE Packing, or Graphite PTFE Packing, is manufactured by weaving graphite-filled PTFE yarns. The yarns are produced by combining PTFE dispersion resins with fine graphite powder and a controlled amount of heat-resistant lubricant. This formulation enhances thermal conductivity, reduces friction, and improves wear resistance compared with pure PTFE packing.

Designed for demanding dynamic sealing conditions, PTFE graphite packing performs reliably in applications involving higher surface speeds and elevated temperatures where standard PTFE packings may be limited.

Features

  • Graphite-filled PTFE construction for improved heat dissipation

  • Low friction coefficient and excellent wear resistance

  • Suitable for higher surface speeds and temperatures than pure PTFE packing

  • Good dimensional stability under dynamic operating conditions

  • Broad chemical compatibility for industrial sealing applications

  • Long service life in rotating and reciprocating equipment
