PTFE impregnated glass fiber packing providing low friction, particle resistance, and stable sealing for pumps, valves, .....
Glass Fiber Packing with PTFE Impregnation is produced by square braiding high-quality E-glass fibers and uniformly impregnating them with PTFE. The PTFE treatment helps prevent solid particles from entering the sealing interface, maintains elasticity during operation, and reduces friction. This combination delivers stable sealing performance and improved service life in demanding industrial environments.
E-glass fiber is widely recognized as an effective replacement for asbestos due to its high strength, excellent heat resistance, low thermal conductivity, and non-combustible nature. All fiberglass packings are manufactured from premium E-glass fibers to ensure consistent quality and reliable performance.
Construction
Glass Fiber Packing (Non-Impregnated)
Braided from E-glass fibers without impregnation, this type does not shrink or swell during service and is available in square or rectangular cross sections.
PTFE-Impregnated Glass Fiber Packing
E-glass fiber packing impregnated with PTFE to enhance flexibility, reduce friction, and improve resistance to particle ingress, making it suitable for pump and valve applications.
