Ceramic Packing with Graphite Impregnation is manufactured using high-quality ceramic fiber braided into a square packing and treated with graphite lubrication. This design combines the outstanding heat resistance of ceramic fiber with the sealing and lubricating benefits of graphite, making the packing especially suitable for static sealing applications under extremely high temperatures.
Ceramic fiber is widely recognized as an ideal replacement for asbestos due to its non-combustibility, low density, low thermal conductivity, and excellent insulation properties. All ceramic packings are produced from premium ceramic fibers to ensure stable performance, dimensional integrity, and long service life in severe thermal environments.
Construction
Ceramic Fiber Packing
Braided from ceramic fibers without impregnation, this version does not shrink or swell during service. It can be reinforced with fiberglass or stainless steel wire and is available in square or round cross sections.
Graphited Ceramic Packing with Metal Wire
Ceramic fiber packing reinforced with Inconel, stainless steel, or nickel wire and impregnated with graphite. The metal reinforcement enhances mechanical strength and temperature resistance, while the graphite improves sealing efficiency and surface lubrication.
