Asbestos Cylinder Head Gasket Sheet—also known as asbestos composite gasket sheet, reinforced asbestos sheet, composite beater sheet, or asbestos beater sheet—is engineered for high-temperature and high-pressure sealing in internal combustion engines. Manufactured by bonding asbestos beater sheet to a perforated metal core, this material delivers exceptional strength, stability, and sealing performance, making it a preferred gasket material in automotive and machinery applications.

Features

The gasket sheet is produced by mechanically clinching asbestos beater sheet to a tanged carbon steel sheet (0.18–0.25 mm) or stainless steel insert. This reinforced construction provides superior compression resistance, excellent heat endurance, and reliable sealing in demanding engine environments. To enhance durability and sealing integrity, both sides can be coated with graphite or silicone resin. The material maintains stability under thermal cycling and ensures consistent performance in gasoline and diesel engine systems.
