No-asbestos beater sheet—also known as no-asbestos beater paper, emulsion sheet, or latex paper—is manufactured from synthetic latex, non-asbestos fibers, and selected fillers. It is designed for general sealing applications in automotive engines, motorcycles, agricultural machinery, and engineering equipment. With stable performance in lubricating oil environments up to 200°C, it is often laminated with tinplate to produce composite gasket sheets.

Although this material contains a small amount of asbestos (about 5%), its cost advantage makes it a practical alternative to fully non-asbestos products. It is available in two forms: standard beater paper and vulcanized sheet for direct gasket cutting.
