No-asbestos composite gasket sheet

No-asbestos composite gasket sheet reinforced with tanged steel for automotive and motorcycle cylinder head gaskets. Hea.....

No-asbestos composite gasket sheet is a reinforced sealing material produced by bonding non-asbestos beater sheet (asbestos content approx. 1–3%) to a tanged carbon steel core. Using a 0.18–0.25 mm perforated tinplate or stainless steel insert, this composite structure offers excellent strength, sealing stability, and heat resistance. It is widely applied in automotive and motorcycle cylinder head gaskets, as well as other internal combustion sealing systems requiring durability under heat, pressure, and oils.

Features

The sheet combines a non-asbestos fiber matrix with a mechanically clinched tanged steel core, resulting in a gasket material that handles high compression and fluctuating temperatures. Optional graphite or silicone resin coatings improve sealing reliability and resistance to friction. The product maintains strong compressibility, recovery, and tensile strength, making it suitable for long-term engine sealing where oil, water, and kerosene exposure is expected.
