Ceramic fiber tape reinforced with fiberglass or steel wire for high-temperature insulation, cable wrapping, and pipe se.....
Ceramic fiber tape is a high-temperature woven insulation material manufactured from ceramic fiber yarns and reinforced with fiberglass yarn or stainless steel wire. It is designed to provide reliable thermal protection, sealing, and insulation in environments exposed to extreme heat. With excellent flexibility and stability, ceramic fiber tape is widely used as an asbestos-free solution in industrial thermal insulation systems.
Features
Ceramic fiber tape offers outstanding heat resistance, with continuous working temperatures up to 1050 °C depending on reinforcement type. The tape is lightweight and flexible, making it easy to wrap, bind, or insulate irregular shapes. Its low thermal conductivity ensures effective heat insulation, while strong chemical stability allows resistance to most corrosive agents. Fiberglass-reinforced tape is suitable for medium-temperature applications, while steel wire-reinforced tape provides enhanced tensile strength and durability for higher temperature conditions.
Applications
Ceramic fiber tape is widely used for high-temperature electrical cable insulation, wire covering, and pipe wrapping. It is also applied in furnaces, kilns, boilers, exhaust systems, and thermal equipment as edge protection, sealing tape, or heat-resistant binding material. Its combination of flexibility, thermal resistance, and durability makes it ideal for industrial insulation, fire protection, and energy-saving applications.
