Texturized Fiberglass Woven Cloth is manufactured by weaving texturized filament fiberglass yarns into a thick, lofty fabric. The texturizing process increases fabric bulk and air entrapment, resulting in improved thermal insulation performance compared with conventional filament fiberglass cloth. Heat insulation efficiency is influenced by both thermal conductivity and radiant heat resistance, which are determined by fabric thickness, weave structure, and surface texture.
With excellent heat resistance and dimensional stability, texturized fiberglass cloth is widely recognized as an effective non-asbestos alternative for high-temperature insulation and fire protection applications. For enhanced mechanical strength or electrical conductivity control, the fabric can be reinforced with copper wire, nickel wire, or stainless steel wire.
